About the estate
Located in Ludes since 1737 the Monmarthe family were agricultural lands and vineyards owners. Everything begins in 1930. Ernest Monmarthe decides to launch his own champagne : Ernest MONMARTHE. Thanks to Leon MONMARTHE and his wife Anne Marie, Champagne MONMARTHE develops and the house is getting bigger. In 1960, the production reaches 60,000 bottles. In 1990, Jean-Guy arrives in the estate to rule it with his father. It also marks the openning to export markets. Today the house is run by Jean-Guy MONMARTHE, the 6th generation.
