ABOUT THE ESTASTE
Ismael Gozalo, the chief winemaker comes from a line of vine growers from the East of Madrid. Based on ancient knowledge and harnessing the know-how, we create authentic wines alive with soul. Organic agriculture and biodynamic technics allow him elaborate wines with personality without losing their varietal character. Ismael grows mostly prephylloxeric vines, mainly Verdejo and Rufete. For him, the most important is the balance between the soil, the plant, the fruit, and finally the wine produced
