Domaine La Collière

2016
Les Bergeronnettes

Grenache Blanc, Clairette

The nose is generous, it reminds of the smell of hot stones, stonefruits, and citrus peel. It evolves then and shows more floral notes of linden, acacia flower, and fruity notes such as white stone fruits. Beautiful complexity in the mouth, showing similar aromas as on the nose, with also a hint of smokiness with aromas of coffee, nuts, and fresh quince. The mouthfeel is round, generous with volume, and a touch of bitterness.

ABOUT THE ESTATE

Domaine De La Collière is owned by Georges Perrot, a passionate vintner who started his career with his father-in-law, who transmitted his know-how, his discipline, and his love for the vine to him. In 2000, Georges Perrot now runs 37 acres of vines on the villages of Rasteau and Buisson. His encounter with André Roméro in 2002, who rented him his cellar, allowed him to make his first cuvées and start officially the Domaine La Collière.
