This Saint-Romain offers a delicate fruit-forward, still complex, expression of Pinot Noir. Small redberry fruit aromas appear at first then slight smokey notes are revealed. Over the years undergrowth notes will build. The wine is well structured and offers a gently tannic finish. To be enjoyed at best, this wine should be aerated a few hours before tasting.

About the estate
Located in the village Saint-Romain in the Cote de Beaune area, the Domaine Buisson Charles is a family-run estate for 8 generations. Today the property covers 19 hectares on the notorious villages such as Meursault, Corton, Pommard, Volnay… Since the mid 70’s the vines are grown sustainably. The younger generation has opted for organic agriculture and the wines are certified organic since the 2012 vintage.
