The nose is fresh and delicate, floral notes dominated then biscuity and bready notes appear. The wine is smooth and opens on a refreshing citrusy aftertaste.
About the estate
It was at the end of the 19th century that Charles Gardet, a fine wine merchant who was somewhat adventurous for his time, founded Maison Gardet in Épernay. In the 1930s, his son, Georges Gardet, continued the family tradition by settling in Chigny-les-Roses, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims region. From an oenological point of vue, he likes to work the wines with a maximum of contact with the lees and a long aging for full and round wines.
