Merlot, Cabernet Franc
The color is ruby, and the nose is complex with aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrant. The mouth is generous and smooth with a nice body and notes of heather. The final note is balanced and delicious.
About the estate
The history of Chateau l’Évêché goes back to the 14th century. Since 2008 the Capdevielle family own the domain and produces two wines, Le Château l’Évêché and Le Château La Chapelle Lescours. Today, Jean-Sébastion Capdevielle produces the Château l’Évêché out of 4,2ha of old vines of Merlot and Cab Franc.
