Complex nose with aromas of candied oranges and violet. The mouth feels ripe, with firm tannins. This wine was aged for 6 months in oak barrels.
ABOUT THE ESTATE
The Cave Saint Maurice started its cooperative activity in 1924 and now brings together 215 winemakers and almost 5000 acres of vines located at the bottom of the Cévennes mountains, in the Gard region. The strengh of this cooperative company lies in their decision of producing premium wines, and growing a majority of the vines organically. They even started producing micro cuvées by plot, such as the famous Rocamp wine.
