The bulles are very fine. The nose is fresh with hints of vanilla. The mouth shows a round wine, fruity and balanced, with notes of brioche and lemon.
About the estate
The Lombard Champagne House is a family run independent company. The environment has great importance in the winemaking approach: the grape varieties benefits of distinct soil types. A rigorous selection of the grapes allows to offer a mystical discovery of Champagne. The property is supplied by 60ha of vineyards covering parcels in the Côtes des Blanc for Chardonnays area with the principal crus from Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly, Avize and Cramant. The Premiers or Grands cru for Pinot Noir are sourced mainly from the East of the Montagne de Reims. Amongst the 17 grands cru of the Champagne region 11 of these are used to create the unique mineral and complex blueprint of the Lombard range of wines.
