Languedoc, Vin de France
Golden straw color. The nose is rich in aromas: notes of brioche or French toast, acacia honey. The mouth shows candied fruits, quince, and white peach. A perfect wine for dinner, both rich and fruity. Great pairing with fish stews or curries, all sorts of spicy food too.
Etienne Fort is a “Jouvenceau de la Dive”, in other terms, a young padawan vintner, located close to Roquetaillade (best part of the Limoux area for wines, with or without bubbles). Over there he recently started producing his wines under the mysterious alias of Monsieur S. A few thousands of bottles under the appellation blanquette and crémant du Limoux have been made only.
