This Chenin blanc has a yellow to golden color. The nose is very fragrant, ripe pear and apple notes stand out. The wine is smooth but fresh on the palate. The sugar/acids balance is outstanding. The finish is fresh and mineral.
ABOUT THE ESTATE
Armand Foreau started the family business in Vouvray in the late ’60s. Vincent Foreau takes the head of the operations in 2007 after obtaining a winemaking degree and several years of hands-on experience assisting his father. In 2015 the entire vineyards of Clos Naudin are certified organic, even the vineyard has not seen any chemical treatments since 2005.
