Domaine de Chambeyron Côte Rôtie
On the nose, small red berry fruit notes stand out, strawberries and black current mainly, thoses are backed by and slight spicy note. The wine is lush, powerful and elegant. The tannins are well integrated and smooth finish.
About the estate
Domaine Chambeyron has been created in 1895 by Jean-Marie Chambeyron and his since family owned. In 1978, Christophe and his son Maurice started planting vines in the Côtes du Rhône appellation. In 1982 the first vines in Condrieu and Côte-Rôtiefurent planted by Bernard. His wife Pascale joined the farm to take care of marketing and customers. Since 2010, Mathieu has joined the property, bringing his personal touch to the wines. Today the property covers 5ha and produced under the following appellations: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Côtes du Rhône.
