In the mouth, the first note is frank, the body is rich and flavourful. The finish is slightly bitter with a hint of saltiness.
ABOUT THE ESTATE
Domaine Antoine Jobard is located in Meursault in Burgundy and owns 16 acres of vines. Initially, it was called Domaine Pierre Jobard, until it has been split between the two heirs, Charles and François Jobard, in 1971. The latter created the Domaine François Jobard with the land he inherited. In 2006, the estate becomes Domaine Antoine Jobard, named after François’s son who worked with him a long time before taking over successfully. The estate has been owned by the Jobard family since the 1860s and Antoine is now the fifth generation. This estate has the particularity of producing exclusively white wines, especially Meursault.
